Because of the Affordable Care Act, the 84% of Oregonians who have insurance have more choices and stronger coverage than ever before. And for the 16% of Oregonians who don’t have insurance, or Oregon families and small businesses who buy their coverage but aren’t happy with it, a new day is just around the corner.

The most recent March poll from the Kaiser Health Foundation, finds that two-thirds of the uninsured and a majority of Americans overall say they have too little information to know how the Affordable Care Act will affect them, and that Americans’ awareness of key elements of the law has declined somewhat since passage when media attention was at its height.
